Résumé

In teaching French language, reading is one of the most important skills to be learned. To develop reading strategies and to acquire how to make written relationship are some of its objectives. In Iran, teaching reading skills is often applied for other skills. So, language learners do not acquire this skill appropriately. This article aims to deal with effective strategies in developing reading skills in French as a foreign language. Acquiring reading skills makes language learners independent in comprehending texts.
